Siouxon Creek Outing
June 22-24 is the Siouxon Creek hike and camp trip. Start getting ready for a great week-end in the outdoors. This is about a 5 mile hike in with an explore to the falls on Saturday and then a 5 mile hike out on Sunday morning. This is gonna be a great trip, you don’t want to miss it!
To the Parents of Scouts going on the June 22 – 24 Siouxon Creek Outing,
We are still in need of more drivers to get the Scouts to/from Hockinson to the Siouxon Creek trailhead. Drivers are more than welcome to stay and complete the hike with the boys. It will be a nice hike on relatively flat terrain. In addition to what is normally taken on outings, scouts (and parent hikers) should bring sturdy, closed toe shoes (preferably hiking shoes), and a backpack capable of carrying their equipment and supplies for the outing. A backpacking stove will be needed but can be shared among a group of scouts.
If you’re able to drive and/or would like to participate in the outing, please let either Mike Fletcher or myself know next Monday.
