FLASH!!! FLASH!!! FLASH!!!
The meeting for Monday, the 11th of February, will be a road trip.
Meet at the Community center as usual but EARLY, at 6:00 PM, for a 6:15 PM departure to hear about Winter Survival in the North West from a former Air Force Academy instructor.
Boy Scout members are invited to a survival seminar by Peter Kummerfeldt. Peter is a highly sought after survival instructor that has been an invited speaker to the Pacific Northwest Sportsman’s Show for the last eleven years. Peter was a survival instructor for the US Air Force for 30 years and then retired and formed his own company, “Outdoor safe”. The last nine years Peter has been gracious enough to visit with Troop 465 and make a presentation on Winter Survival in the Northwest while he is working the Northwest Sportsman’s Show.
All are invited to this presentation which will be held on February 11, 2013 at 7:00 pm at All Saints Parish, 3847 NE Glisan, Portland 97232.
There will not be a regular meeting. This is a lecture that is strongly recommended for all those going on the winter snow cave camp out and for everyone else as well that may find themselves in the outdoors during the winter months.
We will be carpooling, so don’t be late!!! See YOU there!
